The warranty is 2 years from the date of delivery in accordance with the statutory provisions. In general, the warranty periods promised for the product description apply.
We do not accept any liability for defects and damage caused by improper use, non-observance of application instructions, or deliberate or negligent mishandling, as well as improper installation and damage caused by external influences. This expressly includes improper cleaning of window films.
Window films should be treated as dust-free as possible during installation. Slight inclusions of dirt particles and dust particles are due to the product and installation and cannot be avoided and are no reason for complaint. This is mainly the case when the window films are installed outdoors. Effectiveness and service life are not affected by this.
No liability is accepted for any damage after installation of foils. This applies in particular to glass breakage. The assumption of costs - of any kind whatsoever - is expressly excluded. Technical information on the products always refers only to the non-binding manufacturer's specifications. Assembly instructions must be expressly observed and complied with. If necessary, Armolan Europe GmbH must be consulted before installation. After installation, the edges of external films must be sealed with neutrally cross-linked silicone in order to maintain the warranty.
The provisions of ß 377 HGB (German Commercial Code) shall remain unaffected vis-ŗ-vis merchants. The customer must inspect the goods for correctness, intactness and completeness immediately, at the latest, however, within 7 days of receipt. Complaints must be made in writing to email@example.com. If a complaint is not made within 7 working days, the goods shall be deemed to have been accepted in accordance with the contract, unless the defect was not recognisable even on inspection with reasonable care.
For all professionally installed window films purchased from us, Armolan Europe GmbH grants a warranty for both commercial and private use from the date of original installation:
- for the car tinting films** "Ventura IR":
- over a period of ten (10) years
a guarantee against peeling, cracking, delamination and demetallisation***.
This warranty does not cover defects or damage due to poor or incorrect installation and/or failure to install in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
All defective film warranty claim requests submitted to Armolan Europe GmbH must include:
- Original invoice
- Product description
- Roll number(s)
- Sample(s) of the claimed film
- Detailed description of the defect(s)
- Quantity / number of rejected film(s)
On request, the entire film which is the subject of the complaint must be returned to Armolan Europe GmbH.
After analysing and evaluating the submitted sample(s) of the claimed film(s), a warranty claim will be confirmed or rejected as unfounded.
Reimbursement of confirmed warranty claims
If a warranty claim in the case of a product defect is confirmed after an inspection by Armolan Europ GmbH, a credit note in the maximum amount of the current sales price will be posted to the customer's account.
* A silicone joint with neutral cross-linking silicone must be applied to the edges of the exterior foils to prevent any oxidation. This is mandatory in the outdoor area to ensure the guarantee.
** The warranty does not cover general colour change or fading based on gradual lightening due to manufacturing. Furthermore, the warranty does not apply if the installation violates local vehicle tinting regulations and laws, or if the film has been improperly or incorrectly installed.
